Jenn Kosakowski From Columbia, MD is a racist.
Jenn Kosakowski from Columbia, MD, who works at On The Border Grill and Cantina thought it was appropriate to dehumanize black customers on tumblr unapologetically because they were upset with subpar service. Jenn Kosakowski from Columbia, MD believes that if black people don’t like waiting for hours at a restaurant, that they should go back to being slaves.
Racists who get paid to work in hospitality are the racists I hate the most. -Bo
You’ll be pleased to know that this little girl no longer works for On the Border. After finding out which specific store she works in, I contacted the company a few days ago to complain, as I work in the restaurant industry as well. Really awkward when the black people you think should be slaves have paying jobs and you don’t, isn’t it Jenn Jenn?
This doesn’t necessarily make this young woman more sympathetic or understanding than she was before. In fact, all you may have done is cement her hatred for the black community. You can punish people or educate them. Punishing someone eventually comes back to bite you in your ass. Educating someone not only opens that person’s eyes, but also helps to educate yourself. Instead of getting her fired, maybe you should have gotten some colored people/multiracial ambassadors to have a meeting with her to show her that her stereotypical views are stemming from a racist family, and societal upbringing. Changing society doesn’t mean you fire the incapable or different, but instead you should be earnest, truthful, compassionate, loving, and indifferent to their hatred, that way they may feel included with everyone. I support anyone’s use of free-speech, and if you don’t like what they’re saying, you need to mind your own business and move on. You just fucked with her life personally. Words may hurt, they also educate, but your actions leave imprints whether good or bad. Hopefully she finds new work soon and some multiracial friends that will improve her outlook. I’m pretty sure this didn’t do that.
Lol at you. Punishment is a form of education.
Question: Do I look like Aunt Jemima to you? I’m not here to make people who think I should be a slave “feel included” or warm and bubbly inside. My role at that point is to protect myself and my people. Trust me, a public shaming will teach her much quicker than cooking her pancakes would have.
A significant mark of being an oppressor is leaving it up to the oppressed to educate you or fix your wrongdoings. So not only are we the victims of racism but it’s up to us to clean up the mess that racists caused too, allowing them to relax while we do the hard work and free them from personal accountability.
Much as I’d love to be a Saint, I’m no Afro-Jesus. I’m not about to try to work a miracle on someone who has PROVEN to hate me.
Though her saying that some black people need to go back to being slaves is out of line if I were in her situation I would be frustrated the fuck out too cause ive dealt with some ratchet ass ignorant niggas* (Yeah welcome to america, if you are educated and black you’re AfroAmerican, if you’re ignorant and black you’re a nigga.)
